World Formula "WF" Plate Championship 2006
> 2006 WF Results
The WF Plate Championship is back....and now a junior championship as well!
Karting North East, Prosport and Zoom have joined forces again to back what we consider to be one of the most affordable and enjoyable classes currently available. This year sees the introduction of cheaper tyres retailing at £52 + vat. These have been tested against the current tyres and have proven to be very consistent. Don't forget also that you can use any chassis for WF as long as the inboard engine will clear the rear rail. If you are not sure seek advice from your local dealer.
WF is the ideal way to learm your racing craft with minimal investment and maximum enjoyment. WF like most 4 stroke racing teaches you to drive smoothly and accurately. If you then decide to move into one of the faster 2 stroke classes you will have had some very good grounding and should be highly competitive. You can normally use your WF chassis for the 2 stroke classes so you could purchase a 2 stroke engine and go racing. The junior championship will start in Apirl giving time for people to make their decision regards class. If you are reading this for the first time and would like to know more about WF or any of the other classes currently running contact Prosport on 0191 4926019 or KNE on 0191 5214050.
