WLKC website is back up and running for the new season. The site contains all wealth of info including up to date results. Find it at www.ardenlawkartclub.co.uk

Cadet "O" Plate………for those of you who are entering the “O” plate make life easy for yourselves and read the regulations. It is a high profile meeting and the rules and regulations will be applied to the letter. One obvious trap to avoid relates to the running of the engines in the paddock. Please don’t do it as it is automatic exclusion from the meeting. Make sure that you fill the Scrutineering cards in correctly as, once again, it can spoil your whole weekend if you have not done so.

A few Reserved bays are still available in the lower paddock. Give KNE a ring if you want to reserve a bay.

WLKC drivers entering the combined “O” Plate / Club meeting on the 2nd and 3rd April need to understand that they only need to be at Warden Law on the Sunday. Timed practice on the Saturday is only for those entering the “O” Plate.

Saturday Practice 2nd April
This is restricted to any Cadet, Mini, Junior and Senior Max or Tkm but not any underage Cadets, Gearbox karts or 4 strokes. A MSA licence is not essential but the kart must be of the standard required by them. Be aware that anyone can practice in the week prior being the school holiday week.

Fun Meeting
We are close to having all classes onto the new timing software which means that we need all competitors to have a transponder! We will continue to hire them out but we only have 25. What we must have is kart numbers on the back as well as the front of the kart to help Mark in lap scoring.

Sunday the 6th proved that Mums really do enjoy coming to Warden Law (even on Mothering Sunday). We had a good turn out with some great racing.

MSA Meeting on 20th March
Good grids of Cadets and Senior Max plus high standards of driving made the job of Clerk of the Course easy. Sadly some drivers fell foul of the scruntineers by being underweight. The regulations do not provide for any flexibility in the outcome…..if you are under the minimum weight then you will be excluded from the heat and it will be recorded on your licence. The often heard “complaint” …..that the scales last

week / month at A N Other circuit weighed the kart 2 kg heavier is irrelevant. The MSA refer to the scales in use on the day as being correct. Ours were calibrated last month and are reliable.
