When Lewis Hamilton began karting at the
age of eight and quickly began winning races, who could have
thought that he would finished second in the 2007 Formula
One Championship as the youngest ever driver only a few years
later!
When it comes to introducing children to
motorsports there's no better and safer place than the newly
opened Karting4Kids circuit at Karting North East. This brand
new circuit, adjacent to the world famous British Championship
Circuit at Warden Law near to Sunderland, is exclusively for
junior karters, to introduce youngsters to the thrill of real
outdoor racing.
Ian Lawson, Karting North East's managing
director said: "We aim to offer a unique karting experience,
whether as initial training or by offering support throughout
the early stages of a racing career. Using our brand new fleet
of junior Sodi karts, we offer karting induction sessions
for individuals, entry into organised Junior Race nights or
birthday party packages offering exclusive use of the new
Karting4Kids circuit."
The new Karting4Kids circuit is now
open 7 days a week throughout the year. Booking can be made
online at the website www.kartingnortheast.com.
