The junior races are popular events where anyone between the ages of 8 and 15 years old, who do not own their own racing karts, can take part in head to head hire kart racing here at Warden Law. Using our top of the range 200cc Biz karts the aim of the KNE Junior Championship is to accumulate as many points as possible to reach the "A" final, and the chance of being the overall winner. Quality trophies are awarded each championship race to the top three drivers. The open race nights are a fun opportunity for new drivers to experience racing alongside other junior drivers, prior to competing in the Junior KNE Championship.

JUNIOR OPEN RACE NIGHTS + KNE JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
From February there will be two opportunities to race. The Junior Open Race Night will be run on the 1st Friday night each month on the 800 metre circuit using our fleet of Biz Karts and is aimed at drivers who are new to Karting and have completed the Induction session and at least one practice session on the 800 metre circuit (please note experienced drivers should not take part in the open race nights). Medals will be awarded to the top three drivers. The cost for the open race night is £30 per driver, with a 50% deposit required upon booking.

The KNE Junior Championship will be run on the 3rd Friday of the month using our brand new fleet of Biz karts on the existing KNE 1200 metre circuit. Once a driver has completed at least 3 Friday night junior races they can then join the KNE Junior Championship. The championship will be set over four rounds (see dates on the right) with the best three rounds to count. The top 3 drivers at the end of the championship will each receive an engraved trophy, with the championship winner also receiving a £50 voucher valid for track time or use in the Kart shop. The cost for the championship race is £35 per driver, with a 50% deposit required upon booking.

Race Format: All Junior racing will begin with a safety briefing followed by a 10 minute practice session before the racing begins. The format will consist of 2 heats of 8 laps and an 10 lap final for each driver, with points awarded based on finishing position in each heat and final.

Arrive and Drive sessions: In addition to Junior Arrive and Drive sessions being available on the Paddock circuit juniors are able to carry out these sessions on the main 800 metre circuit on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays between 4pm and 6pm (subject to availability, please ring to pre-book). Practice session prices are 15 minutes =£17.00pp, 30 minute = £32.00pp). Please specify upon booking which circuit you wish to use.
