Incorporated into our hire kart race day on the
third Sunday of each month is our Thunderkart Challenge. You will
be racing in our new fleet of 390cc Sodi Karts, designed to the
latest specification for speed and control. After practice, drivers
will participate in a series of three heats
to determine their starting position in the final. With up to 25
karts all racing at once, our highly competitive Thunderkart Challenge
promises to be an action packed race day. Our experienced mechanics
will be available throughout the day, and all karts will be serviced
and checked prior to the event.
Points will be allocated to each driver based
on finishing position in each heat and final, with the best 8 rounds
out of 10 to count. A 10 point bonus will be awarded to any drivers
competing in all 10 rounds. The Championship winner will win a £75
Karting North East voucher and engraved trophy. 2nd place in the
championship will receive an
engraved trophy plus £50 Karting North East voucher with 3rd
place receiving an engraved trophy plus £25 Karting North
East voucher.
