The players and coaches of Sunderland Football Club enjoyed a competitive day with a difference racing here at Karting North East. 

17 teams took to the circuit to see if their skill on the pitch could be matched on the 1200 metre championship circuit.  With smoothness and consistancy the key, did they have what it takes to pass their team mates and cross the finish line when the chequered flag fell?
