CHARITY EVENT HELD AT WARDEN LAW

During the September Owner Driver Fun Meeting we organised three races in our hire karts, for the ladies, raising money for Ward 46, Breast Cancer Care Ward at the R.V.I. Newcastle at the same time. Thanks to Mark Tate for being brave enough to organise 34 women and to all that took part and made the event a success!

The final saw some good competitive racing, with Christine McConnell’s consistency and skill giving her the fastest lap of the day and making her the clear winner, followed by: 2nd Aleysha Gormley, 3rd Angela Tate, 4th Teri-Leigh Pate, 5th Lynn Purvis, 6th Abbie Winkfield. KNE contributed the karts and track time free of charge.

In all, the event raised in excess of £1500. Any outstanding sponsor money please forward to KNE, ProSport or Mark Tate so that we can see the exact amount of money raised (please make cheques payable to Ward 46).
