Junior Race Night - November 2006

The time had come for the November Junior Championship with twenty drivers arriving for a great night of racing. The event started with a series of heats, with each driver awarded points based on their finishing positions. The circuit was dry but very cold, which made for some tricky driving conditions; nevertheless there were some close heats, with Jake Forster, Alistair Worrall and Daniel Barber being some of the heat winners.

When the heat points were totalled, each driver took part in a final, with the winners elevated to the main final. Jake and Alistair were the joint leaders after the heats, with 30 points each, however as Jake had the fastest lap time, he took pole position for the A final.

Ben Gray began the final in last place, but after a great drive he finished in 2nd place, with 3rd place going to Alastair and 1st to Jake (with a lead of 12 seconds). Driver of the Day went to Jonathan Burgon for his overall effort during the event.
